School Twitter Accounts

We now have a Twitter account which you can access via our home page.  Each stage, nursery, Timezone and P.E also have their own Twitter feeds which can be accessed on the relevant page in the School Life section.  Please follow us for instant updates.

Wellbeing Survey

We are currently in the process of collecting parents' views about their children's wellbeing at our school.  Every family should have received a survey.  If you haven't or you have misplaced it then you can download one from our Parents' Page on this website.

Learning Cafe

Everyone is welcome to join us at our next learning café on Friday 12th May at 9.30am.  We have had two learning cafés so far this session.  At the first learning café in October we shared our learning about literacy.  We showed the strategies we use to understand text and the VCOP strategies we use for writing. At the second one we shared our success and achievements as well as our Masterclasses. Thank you to everyone who has attended one so far and we hope to have as many people join us for our final café of the year.

Maddiston Masterclasses

Maddiston Masterclasses started on Friday 2nd December!  Some of the classes we are experiencing are Photographers R Us; Night at the Museum; Lingo Gaelictic; Lights, Camera, Action; The Apprentice; Badminton Buddies; The Maddiston Voice; Brainiac- Science Attack and Come Dine with Me. We are particularly pleased that Aldi is supporting us with our Come Dine With Me class.  They have very kindly agreed to supply food from their Super Six range.

Jeans for Genes Day

The captains of Lomond House organised a fundraising day to support people with genetic disorders.  They had a wonderful response from everyone and raised £350! Thank you to everyone who wore denim and gave donations.

School Meals and Breakfast Club

Lunch orders can only be made on a Monday morning for children who would like a lunch any day that week.  Lunch order slips are sent home weekly for completion.  They are also be available to download in the parents section of the school website.  Money must come in a sealed envelope with name and class on the front.

School Meal prices are £2.05 per day for P4-7.  The cost of the week will amount to £10.25.

Breakfast Club is £1.45 per child. No charge for those pupils who are receiving Free School Meals as recorded by the Registers (therefore NOT all P1-P3 are entitled)
